Plymouth stage their first best pairs meeting of the season at the St Boniface Arena on Friday evening (May 16) (7.30pm).
In addition to the regular members of the Devils squad, club chairman Mike Bowden has drafted in a number of popular visitors to the Plymouth track.
Talented young American Shaun Harmatiuk figures in an interesting partnership with former Devil Rob Smith, who is now riding for Rye House.
Buxton’s British under 21 finalist Jack Roberts links with on form Plymouth reserve Paul Starke, bringing together two 17-year-olds.
Two all-Devils pairings see Tom Brown re-new his partnership with Ben Hopwood while 18-year-olds Kyle Hughes and Jaimie Pickard line-up together.
The remaining two pairs see skipper Seemond Stephens link up with fellow Cornishman Jason Prynne while recent signing Mark Simmonds is paired with 16-year-old Danny Stoneman.
There will be cash prizes of £600 at stake with £300 for the winners, £200 for runners-up and £100 for third place.
Line-up:
Seemond Stephens and Jason Prynne, Mark Simmonds and Danny Stoneman, Tom Brown and Ben Hopwood, Shaun Harmatiuk and Rob Smith, Jack Roberts and Paul Starke, Kyle Hughes and Jaimie Pickard.
