Kings Lynn Speedway: Doolan back from injury.

Kevin Doolan will return from injury this Wednesday night and put the King's Lynn 'Money Centre' Stars back to full strength to take on local rivals, the Rye House Rockets.

The Rockets have already visited the Norfolk arena once this season in the Premier Trophy and were beaten after they lost their star man, Tai Woffinden, in the first heat.

After the Stars impressive performance against the Reading Racers last Wednesday, they will be hoping to carry on that form even with the Rockets back to full strength theirselves. Nothing though can be taken for granted with the Rockets already winning convincingly at Mildenhall and also running Edinburgh to within 4 points.

Stars team manager, Rob Lyon, weighs up his opponents, 'Rye House are a solid team and have some exciting riders, I believe that we will have to watch out for Chris Neath and Tai Woffinden, if these two perform well then we could have a tough meeting ahead. It is great to have Kevin back and hopefully he will ease himself in without any problems, it is a great boost for the team and the other riders and I hope we can put a solid victory together'.

With the Stars now out of the KO Cup and the Premier Trophy competitions you would be excused for thinking they don't have much to look forward to this season? In actual fact the league actually looks like a whole different ball game and the Stars are 100% focused on finishing top of it for the 4th consecutive season. Buster Chapman gives us his view on it, 'we are in a great position currently sitting on 6 league points with only 1 home match completed, a win on Wednesday night will move us up to second place.

For me it's all about keeping yourself within view of the top of the table and I believe we have what it takes to keep ourselves there for the rest of the season, I know their will be 3 or 4 other teams up their with us and it will probably come to a tight climax, but with the fans support we have what it takes collect the league title!'

Wednesday nights racing starts at 7:30pm at the Norfolk Arena. Admission prices are Adults £12, Concessions £8, 12-15yrs £4 and all kids 11 and under are free.
