BELLE VUE ACES

BELLE Vue have extended Jason Crump’s contract until the end of the 2009 season – and agreed an undisclosed fee to buy him back from Poole.

The two-times world champion is happily settled back in Manchester after a year in Dorset.

He said: "This is a big commitment on Belle Vue's part and I'm glad they wanted to do it. I suggested a few weeks ago that I wanted to do this.”

MILDENHALL TIGERS

MILDENHALL boss Laurence Rogers is backing his side to get it right – despite their 60-30 home defeat by Edinburgh.

He said: “It was one of those days. We were on the receiving end of a powerhouse performance from the Monarchs who were in fine form.

“The riders will all click together soon and when they do we will hand out some beatings, we have faith in them.”
