BRITISH SPEEDWAY

BRITISH Speedway bosses have launched an exciting opportunity for aspiring youngsters aged 13-18 to get into the sport.

The British Speedway Promoters' Association have linked up with the Buxton Campus at Derby University where accomodation will be available for the camp between July 21-25.

They will have track time with former riders Graham Jones and Mark Loram - along with lectures on nutrition, fitness and psychology in sport.

SCUNTHORPE SCORPIONS

SCUNTHORPE star Richard Hall is ready to score some important points in Friday’s home clash with Workington.

Hall, a former Elite League title winner with Peterborough, believes his season is starting to head in the right direction.

He said: “I’ve finally got a setup that’s working around here and I’m starting to make good starts. Workington will be tough but I’m looking forward to it.”
