Plymouth collected their first silverware of the season when they completed the double over Weymouth in the deciding leg of the Devon and Dorset Trophy at the Wessex Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Devils won 49-39 on the night following their 61-29 first leg triumph at the St Boniface Arena 24 hours previously.
Skipper Seemond Stephens led by example, dropping only one point to the opposition when he was beaten by Jay Herne in his final outing. Nicki Glanz was also in double figures with 10 (paid 11) from his rive rides.
Generally, however, it was a sound all round team performance by the Devils to secure an aggregate victory by 42 points.
