Well it looks like I'll finally be back on deck full time next week with regular reports and pictures , this weeks results are with the compliments of two ladies from the salisbury club, who graciously donated their pictures for us to use.

Those ladies were my wife , Mandy and Tammy Makepeace , thanks heaps girls , looks like I'll be out of a job if they keep it up!

I dropped the grandkids off around 12.20pm and the track looked like a belter as it was a dark grey colour which indicates it's holding plenty of water. I know I saw Kevin bickle doing the track late on the previous night and he was putting water on it then.

That night and early the next morning it also recieved plenty of water from the much welcomed showers we recieved , and this track excells when it has plenty of water to hold it together and makes it a fast surface to race on because of the extra traction it gives.

Now for the racing.

Thirty four riders turned up to race on a great track in perfect weather ( after the record heatwave anything less than 40c is perfect) but this day was almost windless and rather cool around 21c.

Tiny Tots; only three raced today and as they all recieve the same points because theirs is a non-competitive grade they all came up trumps. those little racers were , Jalyn Hach , Malaya Hach & Emily Makepeace.

Division Seven ; had a full deck of four riders with Michael Ratcliff (17) having the wood (just) over Mathew Snowden (16) with Kaeden Langham (10) picking up third from Jacob Childs (7).

Division Six; only had two riders today and I'll be Joshua Carden (maximum 20) had a grin a plastic surgeon couldn't remove.second was Whitney Jones on (15).

Division Five; and seven riders fronted the tapes with Luke Childs (19) taking the honors from a vastly improved Plymouth Christian (14) , since grandad finally had his gearing improved , many thanks to Rick Jolly for doing the job! One point away was Braden Makepeace(13) ahead of Dylan Childs on (7).

Division Four; Eight riders  raced in this division today with Mr.Smooth Josh Debattista (17) tying with Robbie Vella (17) ahead of another rider (14) followed by another tie between Austin McDonald (6) and Angus Elliot (6).

Division Three; Four riders filled the starting grid with Dean Jolly taking the win with (18) and also winning the mono comp with over a full lap of the track.Second saw Nathan Condo-Evans (13) third saw Jay Walters (12) followed by anthony Daniels (7).

Over 30's had only one rider with Darren Mathews taking the points uncontested (20).

Division Two;Five riders with Nigel Greenhalgh dropping only one point (19) from Matt Mathews (13) with third going to Daniel Bax (9) ahead of his brother Tony Bax (6).

Dressage went to , for the Hornets Mathew Snowden , the Orions another rider and for the Blackhawks , Josh Debattista.

Rider of the month went to Braden Makepeace
