Astley & Tyldesley are delighted to announce two new signings for the 2008 season.
Andy Knowles is an experienced Blackpool based rider who has joined A & T this season on a full transfer, after spending his entire racing career with Sheffield. Understandably, Andy is keen to cut back on his travelling and will be a valuable addition to the A & T senior squad. He has previously raced for A & T on a secondary registration in midweek Manchester League events.
Krzyzstof Studzinski is a 20 years old Polish rider, from Torun. A teammate of Darek Kurkowski and Przemek Binkowski in Poland, this will be his first season racing for an English club. He raced in last year's World Championships in Poland, but was eliminated early on at Czestochowa.
The new signings compensate for the retirement of Lee Phillips and the doubts over the availability of Chris Finnigan, Joe Allen and Laura Allen.
