Chris Holder has won his fourth successive round of the 2008 Linddales Labour Hire Australian Solo Speedway Championship as he continues to dominate the event.

But again Mildura riders Cameron Woodward and Tom Hedley had their private battle and both made the B final as they did at Mt Gambier last Saturday.

A third Mildura rider Corey Gathercole had his best round to date and just missed out on a ride in the B final. He finished level with Czech republic rider Filip Setera on eight points but the visiting international got the last spot in the B final on a countback.

Holder now has a 12 point lead into the fifth and final round at the Sydney Showground on Friday night.

Holder dropped a point to Swedish rider Fredrik Lindgren in his second ride, but won his other four heats to get first choice of gate position in the final which he led all the way.

Troy Batchelor and Joe Screen finished second and third respectively in the A-Final and are also second and third in the series points, just ahead of Fredrik Lindgren, Cameron Woodward and Jason Doyle.

If Cameron Woodward is to get a placing on the podium he must make the A Final in Sydney to jump ahead of the international pair Joe Screen of the United Kingdom and Swedish Grand Prix rider for 2008 Fredrik Lindgren.
