Riders have finally all had the chance to take to the track at Wayville in Adelaide, as they spent Friday night practicing ahead of the 2007 FIM Track Sidecar Gold Trophy 1000cc.
Conditions could only be described as perfect at the Adelaide Showground, with all 18 competitors and passengers (including the two reserves) taking full advantage of an official two-hour practice session.
There were plenty of spectators on hand to glimpse the Sidecars in action, and as they gathered around the track, the riders set out to put their machines through their paces.
It was a successful session for all, and continued the build up to what promises to be an intense night of racing on Saturday evening.
While names such as Christopher, Jackson and Treloar are tipped to be among the top contenders to take out the event, the quality practise session suggested that there could well be a fairytale scripted for a different rider on Saturday.
The race meet will consist of 20 qualifying heats with the top-four point scoring riders earning their way through to a race-off final.
