This will be the final round of the 2007 Championship and although
the flamboyant Italian Marco Belli already has one hand on the
silverware in the Shorttrack class, there are still enough points up
for grabs in the final round for it to be snatched away by current runners-up Hall and Boast and you can be assured that they will be
riding out of their seats to try to make it happen.
In the Harley-Davidson sponsored 1000cc Thunderbike class the roles
are reversed with Boast's V-Twin Suzuki leading Belli's Harley and CCM's Richard May but the points are as close as the action, when these huge twin and multi-cylinder machines race around the tight confines of the track, with up to twelve other riders, it is a sight to behold.
The CCM Junior Cup is currently being led by the skillful Tom Woolley who may be looking for tips from our American guest rider Brandon Robinson who began his racing career on board a Yamaha PW 50 at 4
years of age!
Brandon from Pennsylvania has worked his way through the ranks and
classes to Pro level in Grand National Dirt Track Racing and is now a
GNC Basic Expert / Pro at the ripe old age of 17. He achieved many
wins and podiums, leading him to finish 2nd overall in the 2007 Hot Shoe Pro Sport National Series. Robinson will most definately be be raising the bar when he takes on the Brits and regular European riders such as Seitze Hilleger in the main Shorttrack class.
With the culmination of the Welbourns Shorttrack Quad series, your
final chance to buy a ticket for the Grand Prize Giveaway of an H-D 883 Sportster worth £5,500 and a packed race programme of 30 races, it
will be an exciting night's entertainment.
