Long Track Racing: Team Long Track World CHampionship, Morizes (FRA) 01.09.2007 - modification of the rules.

The rules of this new team championship have been modified. The Race format as well as the introduction of a substitute rider are the main changes.

Competition for Long Track national teams:
6 Teams from different nations (FMNs) will compete in each meeting.
The organiser of a Qualifying Meeting (or Final if there are no Qualifying
Meetings) of this Championship is guaranteed to have its national Team compete in this meeting.

073b.1.1 Fuel
It is compulsory for every Organiser of a Team Long Track World Championship meeting to provide, free of charge, during practice and racing, the methanol for all the riders. If the organisers are not able to get a licence for methanol, it must be mentioned in the Supplementary Regulations. Before the heat in which he is taking part, each rider must present his bike with an empty tank for refuelling.

073b.2 PARTICIPANTS
The riders of each team must have the same nationality as the FMN which has nominated them.

073b.3 TEAM COMPOSITION
The 6 competing teams shall each consist of 3 4 riders: 3 riders having
programmed rides and the fourth rider being a substitute, as follows: There shall be no reserve riders.

Team C (Helmet colour White) Starting N° 7 8 9 21 (Substitute)
Team D (Helmet colour Yellow/Black) Starting N° 10 11 12 22 (Substitute)
Team E (Helmet colour Green) Starting N° 13 14 15 23 (Substitute)
Team F (Helmet colour Black/White) Starting N° 16 17 18 24 (Substitute)

073b.4 SUBSTITUTE RIDER
The substitute rider may take the place of any programmed rider, at any
time, within the maximum number of permitted heats (5 + 1 Final heat)

073b.5 RACE FORMAT
6 teams will compete in each meeting. Two teams meet in each heat. Heats will consist of 4 laps. The starting positions draw for each team will be balloted by the CCP. Heats 1 to 15 are called Qualifying Heats After heat 12 15 there will be an intermediate classification to decide the teams in the Final heats. The points scored in the first 12 15 heats do not count towards the final classification.

There will be three Final heats, an A Final for the first and second placed points scoring teams, a B Final for the third and fourth placed points scoring teams and a C Final for the fifth and sixth placed teams in the intermediate classification.

Points scored in the Final heats by each single rider of a Team will be added to determine the first and second Team of that Final. Start positions for the teams will be balloted for the Finals with two possibilities for position: 1) one, three, five or 2) two, four, six.
