CRADLEY Heathens have put back their Travel Plus National League clash with Rye House by 24-hours and will now race on Tuesday night at Monmore.
Heavy overnight rain, coupled with a forecast of more coming in later, made the decision straight forward.
And the club have paid tribute to stadium owners Ladbrokes, the Rye House management and Wolverhampton staff who have made it possible to go ahead on Tuesday.
Club Director Nigel Pearson said: “There is a better forecast for Tuesday so we are going ahead then, we hope it doesn’t inconvenience too many people.
“We’d like to thank Rye House for their co-operation along with Chris Van Straaten and his superb staff at Wolverhampton Speedway – but also Ladbrokes who have co-operated with us at short notice, it’s appreciated.
“This way it also keeps the lads on track rather than going three or four weeks without a meeting. We look forward to seeing everyone at Monmore on Tuesday night.”
