WOLVERHAMPTON will head into their 2016 home opener against Swindon on Monday (7.30) high on confidence.
The Parrys International Wolves raced to a tremendous 52-38 win at Coventry on Friday to get their Elite League campaign off to a dream start.
They will now welcome the Robins to Monmore Green looking to make it two wins out of two and earn three more points.
Talented young reserve Kyle Howarth, one of five riders making their home debuts, is expecting the Wiltshire outfit to pose a stern test.
However, he says they are fully focused on replicating their fine Brandon performance to come out on top on home shale.
Said Howarth: ďIt was a massive win for us at Coventry, and that was just what we needed in our first meeting.
ďItís a long year and there are a lot of matches, so we canít get carried away and we just have to focus on getting a home win on Monday now.
ďItís going to be a tough meeting, especially given most of us havenít had Monmore Green as our home track before, and Swindon will give us a hard test Iím sure.
ďHopefully we can ride as well as we did on Friday and make some good starts to get another win.Ē
Both teams will be at full strength, with Swindon led by World No.5 Jason Doyle and talented Australian international Nick Morris.
WOLVERHAMPTON: Joonas Kylmakorpi, Sam Masters, Jacob Thorssell, Freddie Lindgren, Mikkel Bech, Max Clegg, Kyle Howarth.
SWINDON: Jason Doyle, Justin Sedgmen, Josh Grajczonek, Rohan Tungate, Nick Morris, Stefan Nielsen, Charles Wright.
