The LOTTO Warsaw FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland returns to the stunning PGE Narodowy stadium on May 14, 2016 – with fans set for the ultimate weekend of speedway.

In addition to the LOTTO Warsaw SGP of Poland, the PZM itself is running a second event, to be held on Sunday, May 15, which sees Poland take on a star-studded Rest of the World team.

Fans will therefore be treated to not just one, but two world-class meetings at the PGE Narodowy on the same weekend.

From October 19-26, fans who purchased tickets for the 2015 LOTTO Warsaw SGP of Poland can buy 2016 tickets at the same price. As an added bonus, they will also get free entry to the PZM’s Sunday meeting and a free programme on Saturday.

On October 26, tickets will go on general sale and will still be held at 2015 prices, with fans also able to buy a combined ticket for Saturday and Sunday’s meetings for just 30 PLN more.

Everybody is working tirelessly to put on a show worthy of a capacity crowd at Poland’s national stadium. Preparations include increasing the time allocated to building and testing the track so that the racing surface is in the best possible condition for the event.

BSI Speedway managing director Torben Olsen said: “Everyone involved is doing everything in their power to make this event the huge success it deserves to be, and I hope fans will take advantage of the early-booking offers to enjoy the LOTTO Warsaw SGP and the PZM’s Poland versus Rest of the World event in the superb surroundings of the PGE Narodowy stadium and the city of Warsaw.

“With Maciej Janowski enjoying an impressive first season in the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series and Bartosz Zmarzlik and Piotr Pawlicki both making their debuts in the 2016 competition, next year’s LOTTO Warsaw SGP will be an exciting night for the home fans.

“And if one of Poland’s exciting young stars can win, it will be a night they and their many fans will never forget.”

Andrzej Witkowski, CEO of the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation is very pleased with plans for the May weekend of speedway at PGE Narodowy.

He said: "For the first time in history at the national stadium, there will be two speedway tournaments in two days.

“Every fan who attended the LOTTO Warsaw SGP of Poland in April this year and buys a ticket for next season’s event will receive a free ticket for Poland versus the Rest of the World and a program as a gift from the PZM.

“We will show that it is possible to organise a very good competition. Ticket prices remain at the same low level. Stay with us during the May weekend of speedway at the PGE Narodowy.”
