The last round of the 2015 Speedway European Championship was held in Ostrow Wielkopolski, in Poland.
A crowd of 10,600 spectators from all over Europe watched 22 spectacular races and a really close finish. Emil Sayfudtinov from Russia was crowned European Champion after heat 16.
The winner of today Nicki Pedersen from Denmark showed a constant performance during the races.
The rostum was completed by Janusz Kolodziej from Poland and Antonio Lindbaeck from Sweden. Overall winner Emil Sayfudtinov was crowned as European Champion for the second time in a row.
Runner up is Nicki Pedersen from Denmark, while in third position there is Antonio Lindbaeck from Sweden. Qualified for the next year’s series are the first three riders in the Overall Classfication, in addition to Janusz Kolodziej from Poland and Martin Vaculik (European Champion 2013) from Slovakia.
“I am very impressed about the high level of racing, as well as organization, of the 2015 Individual Speedway European Championship”, commented FIM Europe President Dr Wolfgang Srb.
“The four rounds in Torun, Landshut, Kumla and Ostrow Wielkopolski built one of the most exciting Championships. Now we are already looking forward to another great year of European Speedway in 2016”.
