Tonight’s Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup Race Off teams have been confirmed.

FIM Speedway Grand Prix star Maciej Janowski takes over the Polish captaincy from the injured Jaroslaw Hampel, while Krzysztof Buczkowski is drafted into team manager Marek Cieslak quartet. Young guns Przemyslaw Pawlicki and Bartosz Zmarzlik retain their places.

Team Great Britain are unchanged from the side that fell just four points short of the Final at King’s Lynn on Monday. Skipper Tai Woffinden teams up with Chris Harris, Robert Lambert and Danny King.

USA also name the same four that started at King’s Lynn, with world champion Greg Hancock joining Ryan Fisher, Gino Manzares and Max Ruml.

Russia race with just three riders in tonight’s meeting – captain Renat Gafurov, Vitaly Belousov and Andrei Kudriashov.

The FIM has been informed that Grigorii Laguta has broken down en route to Vojens in Lithuania and cannot make it to the event in time. Medical certificates have been received for four members of the Russian squad, including Artem Laguta and Emil Sayfutdinov.

The FIM is taking this matter very seriously and are investigating the events that have led to this disappointing situation.
