World Junior Speedway Championship: Thomsen tops in Zarnovica

Denamrk's Anders Thomsen beat Poland's Bartosz Zmarzlik in a run-off to take first place in this World Under 21 Championship qualifying meeting from Zarnovic in Slovakia on Saturday.

Thomsen and Zmarzlik are joined in the next round by Ukrainian Aleksandr Loktajew and Sweden's Emil Grondal. Biggest surpsie of the night was the non qualification of highly rate Polish star Maksym Drabik who missed out by a point.
