The manager of Polish national team, Mark Cieślak visited Toruń two days before Speedway Best Pairs Cup event to examine young speedway riders who sat for the exam for the license at MotoArenag. He also commented on the inaugural competition, which will be held in Toruń, this Saturday, March 28th.

- Krzysztof Kasprzak and Jaroslaw Hampel are great, titled riders. "Kasper" fought for the World Champion title almost to the end, and if it hadnít been because of unlucky injury, we would have the third gold medalist. Jarek had a weaker part of the season, but he is still one of the best riders in Poland, so he will be very useful in Toruń. - says Marek Cieślak.

Individual World Champion U21, Piotr Pawlicki will be the reserve in the team. Rider from Leszno could expect call Ė up from Cieślak after great season 2014.

- Piotr Pawlicki has deserved a call - up, because he won the title of World Champion U21 in a great style, scoring almost all the points. If it is necessary, he will certainly help our team and bring important points for the classification. - added Cieślak.

Due to the fact that Speedway Best Pairs Cup will inaugurate international events in the season 2015 it is difficult to predict who might be the fastest, and who will stand out from the rest of the riders.

- This is the first real racing of the season, so it is hard to speak about the chances of each team. Certainly Danes and Russians will be very strong. Australians have lost a lot because of suspension Darcy Ward and I am not convinced that will manage to repeat last year result. For sure we will fight for the victory, because we start at home and we need to use it. - ended the Polish national team manager, Mark Cieślak.
