Edward Kennett will be taking his place in the England Team as part of the  England V Rest of the World, the first team event of the Great Indoors  Shorttrack Series, which will take place on 23rd February 1pm, at Arena UK,  the fantastic venue where the Christmas meeting took place.

Edward has also just returned from the USA after competing in the Speedway Monster Indoor meeting, where he finished on a very creditable 10pts.

Fabrizio Vesprini is the other major signing for the team event, obviousy ridng for the Rest of the World. Fabrizio is the 2012 FIM Flat Track World Cup Champion and is making the long trip from Montegiorgio, Italy to compete in his first indoor Shorttrack meeting. Fabrizio is a former Ice Racer and has raced Speedway for his native country, Italy. He will be lining up in the Rest of the World Team with previously confirmed riders, Aussie's Kevin Doolan and Damian Koppe.

There will be further anouncements of more Star riders coming very soon...

All the above riders will be also competing in the second meeting of the
day, the International Shorttrack Arena Championship at 6.30 pm (individual)
