Short Track Racing: King Collins of the Dirt.

Aidan Collins took his HRC Honda to another victory in Round 2 of the Pozzani Silkolene Grand National UK Championship, at the Dirt Quake event at Coventry on Saturday.

Collins, who took a big crash into the air fence in one of his heats, bounced back to prove how tough a racer he is by winning his Semi and leading the Grand Final from start to finish, with pressure all the way from the winner of the other semi, Piddcock Honda rider Tom Woolley . There was a tough battle for the last podium spot, with Pete Boast holding his Suzuki Team mate,Tim Neave off for 13 of the 15 lap final, when Tim just got the better of Boastie to take his second podium spot of the season. Italy's Vittorio Marzotto brought the Silkolene Honda home 5th and Richard Magic Mason rounded out the top 6.

Birtwistle and Neave Battle it out for Thunderbike Win.

Tim Neave took a fantastic win in theCo- Built Thunderbike Class in one of the best battles of the night, Alan Birtwistle rode the wheels off his 600 four stroke Yamaha against Tims 500 Roeder Framer two Stroke. They were handle bar to handle for most of the race but it was youth and the lighter two stroke that came out on top. Third spot went to come back man John 'Captain High Side' Lee.

Great Scott

Flynn Scott took his first Arrow Engineering Championship win at Coventry on Saturday. Going into the final race Flynn had one heat race win, with Oliver Brindly and Aaron Silvester also on one win a piece but Flynn made no mistakes to take a great double points win in the Final race, giving him the overall victory.
