Swindon will race into an exciting new Speedway season with a revamped team - and a revamped Robin.

The club have teamed up with Poole-based Jo Parry to produce a new logo of the club mascot which has been a tradition throughout their proud history.

Robins co-promoter Alun Rossiter said: “We’re really happy with the final design and hopefully our supporters like it.

“We expect it may take some time for people to get used to it, but after gathering opinion from a number of people we were all agreed a change was long overdue from the old one.

“It captures everything we wanted in the design - the colours, dynamics of the image and overall it’s a proud looking Robin.”

Swindon open their season with the Bob Kilby Memorial Meeting on Sunday, March 18 and another exciting rider for the event will be unveiled at the weekend.
