NMK Drammen Speedwayteam, popularly called the Vikings,  completed an excellent season to take home the championship gold in teamspeedway on Sunday.

Drammen started with two straight 5-1 victories with alternately Lars Daniel and Thomas Gunnestad by Bjorn G. Hansen as partner. Since was not Drammen to threaten in the next rounds, close came Elgane first team, who managed 3-3 to Drammen.

My third championship title this year, says an ecstatic Lars Daniel Gunnestad, which were finales pointking with maximum 18 points in six heats. Lars Daniel has previously won both couples and individual championship as well the league championship in teamspeedway. In other words, a clean sweep of Drammen with four out of four possible Speedway titles.

We won again, says Bjorn G. Hansen with a golden smile. He, too, with four titles this year. Two in team, and gold in both the Norwegian Championship and Nordic in 500 ccm Long Track racing.

The youngster Thomas Gunnestad rode very well, and had 12 points in the finale.
