Round 7 of the Mefo Sport Flattrack Cup 2010 was competed on the only natural soiled dirt track of the calendar.
The small and grippy track of Heidenreichstein, Austria was in excellent condition and produced fast and close racing under pleasant late summer weather. Newcomer Jarno Möri was regularly challenging the top riders, Bavarian Gatzenmeier was again very strong and even local supermoto rider Jozef Böhm put his mark on the heats. Veteran rebel Peter Wilky, representing the famous Skooter Farm team, also joined the fun. English young gun Ben ‘Smiler’ Baker was in top form again and this time he was hustling Pete Boast during the grand final.
But the reigning champ, this time on a Dutch-Brothers KTM, was just unstoppable! Boastie loved the grippy Austrian track and rode the victory home with an ear-to-ear grin! The smiler had to settle for second again and Round one winner Magic Mason rounded off the all British podium!
