Weymouth Weyline Wildcats have brought back Adam McKinna into the team as a short term replacement for the injured Byron Bekker who was sidelined in last Friday night’s encounter with Newport, suffering a broken collarbone and knuckle. Mckinna makes his Wildcats home return tonight against the high flying Buxton Hitmen.
The Wildcats suffered double defeat last Sunday at Buxton and will be eager to put a good show on for their home supporters against one of the sides tipped for title success. This will also be the last opportunity for supporters to watch rising star Craig Cook before he moves full time into the Premier League with Workington next season. Currently Cookie is riding in both Leagues averaging 10.48 for Buxton and 6.89 for Workington.
Tonight’s National League Trophy action gets underway at 7.15pm at the Wessex Stadium.
