Swindon will be targeting a second successive home victory when
reigning Elite League Champions Wolverhampton visit Blunsdon on
Thursday (2 September), parade 7.30pm.
The Robins collected maximum points from Monday’s encounter against
Ipswich after registering a thirteen-point win.
Swindon’s only change for the meeting is the inclusion of Robins’ No.8
Justin Sedgmen. The Australian youngster assumes a reserve berth in
place of Cory Gathercole who is in action for Premier League Somerset.
Wolverhampton track a heat-leader trio of Freddie Lindgren, Adam
Skornicki and Nicolai Klindt. The side are captained by talented Brit
Tai Woffinden who is joined in a second string capacity by the
tenacious Ty Proctor.
Swindon team-manager Ronnie Russell said:
“Wolverhampton have enjoyed another terrific campaign and hold a
comfortable second spot in the league standings. Peter Adams' side
will provide us with a stern test on Thursday and I'm expecting a
performance full of pride from our squad.”
"Wolverhampton's big two of Fredrik Lindgren and Tai Woffinden
certainly know the fastest routes around Blunsdon. Lindgren's duels
with Leigh Adams are always memorable and I don't anticipate Thursday
evening being any different at all.”
