Plymouth will be looking for their third win in eight days when they meet Newport in the National Trophy at the St Boniface Arena on Friday evening (7.30pm).
The Devils will be looking to follow up last Friday’s 57-36 home win in the Trophy over Buxton and Sunday’s 49-41 National League triumph at King’s Lynn, which revived their hopes of reaching the championship play-offs.
The Newport match is a re-staging of the original fixture which was rained off with Plymouth leading 17-13 after five heats on July 30.
The Devils are unchanged while Newport have yet to name a guest replacement for Todd Kurtz, who will be on Premier League duty at Somerset.
Former Plymouth rider Tim Webster has rejoined Newport and will line-up alongside Kyle Newman, Luke Priest and veteran Tony Atkin with Tom Young and James White-Williams, another former, Devil at reserve.
