The Isle of Wight are desperately searching for a replacement for injured Brendan Johnson in time for tomorrows match against Dudley.
Johnson crashed during the Wightlink Islander National trophy win over Weymouth on Tuesday and was taken to hospital, he was released about midnight, early indications are that nothing is broken, but he has knee damage and it likely to be on crutches for a couple of weeks.
Kevin Shepherd said, both Chris (Hunt ) and myself are searching to try and bring someone in as Brendan has been ruled out for a few weeks with a knee injury. We don't have many options as Brendan would have dropped down to reserve from today. Its a race against time.
The Islanders were comfortable winners over the Wildcats with home skipper Nick Simmons scorching to a superb 15 point maximum.
