BIRMINGHAM Brummies can take a massive step towards sealing their place in the top two of the Premier League when they face Newport at Perry Barr on Wednesday (7.30).
It promises to be a good night of racing with BRC Roofing Brummies boss predicting a tough battle for his riders who are on a high after a demolition job on King's Lynn at the weekend.
They're unchanged from that meeting with Newport including Leigh Lanham, who doubles-up with Belle Vue in the Elite League, and former Birmingham rider Kyle Legault.
Boss Graham Drury said: "Newport will be tough, we will treat them with respect because they have riders in their team who are capable of riding Perry Barr well. Kyle Legault will be keen to do well against us, he is a young man I rate highly and if he can put his injury problems to one side he will have a bright future still.
"This will be a good meeting and I hope the fans turn out in force and come and get right behind us because it's an important one for sure."
BIRMINGHAM: Jason Lyons, Justin Sedgmen, Aaron Summers, Steve Johnston, Richard Sweetman, Kyle Newman, Klaus Jakobsen.
NEWPORT: Leigh Lanham, Craig Watson, Kim Nilsson, Kyle Legault, Robin Aspegren, Alex Davies, Todd Kurtz.
