Craig Cook, who currently tops the National League averages, will be in action at the St Boniface Arena on Friday evening (7.30pm) when he rides at number one for Buxton in their National Trophy match against Plymouth.

The Devils will be looking to open their account in the competition they won last season. They will hope for a repeat of their 59-35 success over Buxton when the teams met in the National League at the beginning of the season.

Plymouth will be unchanged from the side on duty against the Isle of Wight on Tuesday evening while Buxton operate rider replacement for Jonathan Bethell, who is unavailable for the trip to Plymouth.

Cook will be supported by skipper Adam Allott along with 16-year-old Australians Nick Morris and Robert Branford with Lewis Dallaway and 15-year-old Jason Garrity at reserve.

Plymouth: Nicki Glanz, Jaimie Pickard, Matt Bates, Seemond Stephens, Mark Simmonds. Reserves: David Gough, Ben Reade.

Buxton: Craig Cook, Jonathan Bethell (rider replacement), Adam Allott, Nick Morris, Robert Branford. Reserves: Lewis Dallaway, Jason Garrity.
