PETER Karlsson, one of Wolverhampton's all-time Speedway greats, makes an emotional return to the side for their trip to play-off rivals Lakeside on Friday (8pm).
The Swedish star, who raced through the pain barrier to help the Parrys International Wolves to the Elite League title last October, is currently on-loan to Belle Vue - but he's been recalled to make a guest appearance in place of the unavailable Freddie Lindgren.
Lindgren is racing in the Grand Prix Challenge in Denmark as he looks to secure his place in the 2011 SGP series - and there are other changes.
Karlsson's Belle Vue team-mate Ulrich Ostergaard steps in for the injured Nicolai Klindt, who crashed in the mid-week defeat at Poole and has been told to rest for 48-hours.
The reider-replacement facility will again operate for Adam Skornicki, who is on target to make his comeback from knee surgery in the home meeting with Poole on Monday.
And Great Britain Under-21 international Kyle Hughes comes in at reserve with both Joe Haines and Matt Wethers unavailable.
Parrys International Wolves chief Chris Van Straaten said: "When you consider that Nicolai took a bad crash in Heat 13 at Poole and we only got one-point from Adam's rides I think we gave them a real scare. I was very proud of our efforts.
"I know we're patched up for the trip to Lakeside but hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves. Nicolai and Adam should both be back for Monday."
WOLVES: Peter Karlsson, Ty Proctor, Ulrich Ostergaard, Tai Woffinden, Adam Skornicki R/R, Ludvig Lindgren, Kyle Hughes.
