This Sunday (8th August) the Falcons face what is undeniably their biggest home test of the season as the top of the league Stockport team visit Redbraes on Northern League duty. Tapes up at 2pm.
After a one point defeat down in Stockport in June in the corresponding away fixture Team Manager Stevie Gilroy is determined to make amends by ensuring home advantage counts to take the two league points.
June’s fixture at Stockport was run on a horrendously prepared track which the riders made light work of to provide some fierce racing which was coupled with some debatable Refereeing decisions (depending on what side you were on) to give us everything that a great Cycle Speedway match should have. We expect more of the same at Redbraes on Sunday.
The Falcons Juniors will also be in action after the main match racing against the Stockport B Team.
