Skipper Seemond Stephens top scored with 14 (paid 15) points and was well supported by Mark Simmonds with 10, but their efforts could not prevent Plymouth from going down 55-40 in Wednesday’s National League match away to Bournemouth.

Stephens had three wins from his five rides, including a six-pointer on a tactical ride in heat 14, but the only other heat wins were one each from Simmonds and Nicki Glanz.

Plymouth: Nicki Glanz 8 (4 rides), David Gough 2 (4), Matt Bates 2 (4), Seemond Stephens 14+1 (5), Mark Simmonds 10 (5). Reserves: Jaimie Pickard 4+2 (5), Ben Reade 0 (3).
