Belle Vue swept to a 47-37 Elite League win over Lakeside at Kirkmanshulme Lane last night after both sides had co-operated to run the meeting in rain which made conditions increasingly difficult.
The match was called off with a race to go but the result stood.
Captain Hans Andersen had showed the Autogate Aces the way home with three wins in four rides for 10 points.
Aces team boss Chris Morton: "It was a relief to run the match in view of the conditions. We kept talking to the riders about the conditions and decided not to run the last race after Patrick Hougaard won heat 14 and said the track had become dangerous in his opinion."
