With the Canadian Speedway Championship looming, the rider turnout at the Paris event Friday night was lower than usual.
Despite this there was some great racing from Aaron Hesmer, Katalin Davis, Gary Hesmer and Terry Rideout. Troubles for Tommy Hensby and Mike Hammond hampered their successes, due to a chain loss and fuel issues for Hensby, and a serious mechanical problem for Hammond, this proved to be a miserable night for them both.
Aaron Hesmer continued his dominance of the current speedway circuit, with his win of the final race ahead of Gary Hesmer, Rideout and Davis!
