Belle Vue made a magnificent fightback after being 20 points down to lose 49-44 in an Elite League match at Lakeside last night.
It gave them a league point for holding the Essex side to less than seven points.
Ulrich Ostergaard, their recent Danish signing, led a brilliant recovery in the second half of the meeting to finish with 15 points which included three heat wins.
Team bos Chris Morton said: "Ulrich was stunning and provided great entertainment. It looked as if we were falling apart early on but we came back for a point."
