This forthcoming Saturday (17th July) sees the 1st National Round of the British Youth & Junior League, sponsored by Wosskow Brown Solicitors, taking place at Astley & Tyldesley.
This major event last year saw in excess of 150 riders competing at each national round. The six clubs who qualified for the team event - Wednesfield, Sheffield, Kesgrave, Poole, East Newport, Ipswich - will be competing, along with riders from other clubs who qualified for the individual grands prix. Racing starts at 12 noon and will run through until around 9 pm.
This forthcoming Sunday (18th July) sees A & T take on Stockport in a Junior Challenge match, starting at 2 pm. This will be followed by Round 4 of the North West Go-Race Grand Prix series. The afternoon will be concluded by a Club Women and Girls event.
Both days racing take place at the Astley & Tyldesley Miners' Welfare Club, Meanley Road, Gin Pit, Astley, Gt. Manchester. M29 7DW.
