Tickets for the 2011 FIM British Speedway Grand Prix are now on sale and fans could save up to 10% on this year’s prices.

The World Championship’s flagship event returns to Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on Saturday, June 25 with a 5pm start.

Prices start from £29 for adults and £16 for children and fans who book their tickets before the end of August will receive a 10% discount on 2010 prices.

This will be the 11th British SGP staged in the Welsh capital and BSI Speedway managing director Paul Bellamy is certain the 2011 event will be bigger and better.

He said: “Last Saturday’s meeting was a resounding success for us and the 44,150-strong crowd smashed our previous record for the event.

“But we will not rest on our laurels. Every year we are determined to raise the bar and make the British Grand Prix even more spectacular.

“We always want to give fans value for money, and that’s why we are offering up to 10% discount on this year’s ticket prices.

“Once again, Cardiff’s destination marketing company, Cardiff and Co, are offering fans who have booked their ticket the chance to reserve hotel rooms at reasonable rates.

“Around 20% of the city’s hotel capacity will be available to fans at favourable prices.

“This will give visitors to Cardiff every chance to truly experience everything this great city has to offer and make it a weekend to remember.”

Tickets can be purchased via www.speedwaygp.com by clicking on the ‘2010/2011 tickets’ button in the top right-hand corner and selecting ‘2011 events.’ They are also available by calling 0871 230 7155.

Fans keen to take advantage of the accommodation offer should follow the link to a dedicated website, which can be found on their e-mail confirmation from See Tickets or Ticketmaster.

Meanwhile, those purchasing their tickets over the phone can call Cardiff and Co on 02920 871 023 with their ticket booking reference details.
