Round Seven of the 2006 Formula Grasstrack Championship took place at Chetton, Shropshire under beautiful blue skies.
 
The Auto Cadet Class featured four youngsters who all rode will great control .The victor in this section was the returning Jackie Casale with Sam Conway second and Corey Perks third.Devlin Mann finished fourth.
 
Making it a family double was Rocco Casale who took the Cub class on maximum points.
 
The Juniors served up some great racing as all the competitors got stuck into the super smooth racetrack and played their part in some excellent track action.New British 125 Youth Champion, Tom Perry took the overall win with a stylish maximum.Second place was taken by surprise packet Sam Carvill who produced his best ever performance to take the rider of the day accolade for his efforts.Clare Frays took third despite a fall in her fifth ride and Richard Guest took fourth.Chris Timms rode steadily for fifth and Michael Guest rounded out the top six.
 
There was a good quality entry in the  Senior class entry and the racing was fast and furious all day.

Mick Jones from Brierley Hill took victory on the day with an immaculate 6 ride maximum.Sam Flowers packed in a solid scoring second place with Len Sanders taking third.Steve Carvill added vital points to his overall season total with fourth place and Adrian Guest had his best meeting of the year to take fifth.Paul Timms from Birmingham took sixth.
 
Before the main meeting the Golden Helmets were raced for with Tom Perry retaining the Junior Helmet from James Williams and Michael Guest.In the Senior event Adrian Guest surprised everyone to take the helmet from defending champion Mick Jones and Dave Carvill
