With the countdown to the scheduled start of Eastbourne Lifestyle Eagles 2010 Elite League campaign now numbered in hours rather than days, the Sussex speedway club are proud to announce two exciting new ways for supporters to keep their fingers on the pulse and up to speed with the latest exploits and goings on at Arlington.

Following their recent tie up and increased coverage with BBC Sussex, it is intended that the station’s Saturday afternoon Sports programme should a carry weather update from the venue at around 5.00 p.m. on the afternoon of each home meeting and further updates when required.
Co-promoter Mike Bellerby has arranged to receive the very latest weather information from nearby Shoreham airport with a view to keeping fans fully informed of the latest conditions at the venue ahead of start time.

In addition it is intended that BBC Sussex will carry full details of Eagles results, match previews and reports together with interviews with both riders and management in their regular sports bulletins throughout the week.

Further details can be found on BBC Sussex’ own  website - which will also carry up to date information on the Eagles - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sussex/local_radio a link to which can also be found on the Eagles own official website http://www.elite-eagles.com

EAGLES LAUNCH NEW IMPROVED HOTLINE SERVICE

A further method for the Eagles loyal and valued supporters to keep fully in tune with the latest happenings at Arlington is by means of the club’s official hotline which is set to go live at 9 am this Saturday, 20th March 2010, the date of the Sussex clubs opening Grand Challenge fixture against the hotly tipped Peterborough Panthers.

The new hotline number is 09066 555 945 and the service will feature regular updates of events and the latest goings on with the Eagles, match previews, reports and weather updates as well as some exclusive content including regular interviews with both riders and management, together with prominent figures within the club.

Co-promoter Mike Bellerby commented “this season we intend to keep our loyal supporters fully in tune with the up to the minute happenings within the club. This is an area of which we have received some criticism in the past and maybe justifiably from time to time. This year we are looking to keep our supporters fully informed on the goings on with the Eagles, after all, they are the lifeblood of the club and should expect nothing less” he concluded.
