Henderson Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions’ reserves, Simon Lambert and Jerran Hart, have been seeded direct to the British Under-21 Final whilst several Saints riders take their place in the qualifying rounds.
Lambert and Hart join reigning champion Lewis Bridger, Robert Mear and three former Scorpions Tai Woffinden, Josh Auty and Joe Haines at Lakeside on 16th April whilst nine more riders will qualify from three qualifying rounds.
First to hit the championship trail is Gary Irving who has been drawn in the semi-final at Plymouth on 9th April along with former Saint James Sarjeant. The following day Adam Wrathall rides in the Weymouth round along with two more of former team-mates from last season, Kyle Howarth and Ashley Morris before first-year Saints’ riders, Steve Worrall and Luke Chessell, line-up alongside Richard Franklin, who is still a club asset, plus former Scunthorpe riders Chris Widman and Ben Hopwood at Mildenhall on Sunday 11th April.
The top three riders in each round will make it through to the British Final whilst the top riders in the British Final will advance to the world championship rounds.
