BIRMINGHAM’S Speedway stars will be put through their paces for the first time this season on Wednesday afternoon.
The BRC Roofing Brummies are staging their press and practice day, starting at midday. It’s an opportunity for the media and supporters alike to meet and greet the new-look Perry Barr side, including the charismatic Australian legend Steve ‘Johno’ Johnston.
A press call with photograph opportunities will take place at midday and track action get underway shortly afterwards.
Admission to practice for the general public is by donation to the St John’s Ambulance service.
A staff meeting will take place at 6.30pm and a forum featuring all the Birmingham team and management will be in the main bar at 8pm.
