Ipswich Speedway are pleased to announce the appointment of Danny King as club captain for the 2010 season.
“It’s a great honour to be asked to skipper the Witches” said King. “I really enjoyed being captain last season when I took over following the injury to Leigh Lanham and it’s a role I thrive in.
I know I’m a bit on the young side to be skipper but I get on well with all the other lads and I enjoy doing whatever I can to help them out on race days”.
King is chomping at the bit to lead his teammates out on to the reshaped Foxhall circuit on March 25th. “The delayed start due to the awful weather we’ve been having is a bit frustrating but it’s given us a bit more time in the workshop to make sure that we are really well prepared for the new season”.
