DUDLEY Speedway's very own Flying Scotsman is ready for a double championship challenge.
Adam McKinna, the 22-year-old son of Scottish Speedway legend Kenny, is riding for parent club Newcastle Diamonds in the Premier League as well as turning out for the Heathens.
And he said: "I can't wait, it's an exciting season ahead for me, there will be some weeks when I'm riding four or five meetings!
"I'd love to win two league titles with the Diamonds and the Heathens. That's my aim.
"I'm looking forward to heading down to the Midlands to get to know the guys at Dudley. I'm proud to be a part of such an exciting venture and it's going to be great for me to ride at Wolves and Birmingham."
McKinna met Heathens Chairman Nigel Pearson in Newcastle on Tuesday night when both were on the panel at a fans forum for Diamonds fans in the city.
