KINGS LYNN STARS
KING’S Lynn have added Australian ace Ricky Wallace to their side for the new season.
Wallace is the great nephew of former Ipswich and Lynn rider Billy Sanders and arrives in Norfolk with a fine reputation. He will also be helping Elite League star Lewis Bridger.
Stars boss Rob Lyon said: “Ricky seems like an out and out racer and I am sure the fans will quickly take to him, especially as he is a relation of Billy Sanders.
“I also believe it is great that he is part of Lewis Bridger’s Pit crew, that will help him immensely and I am sure that Lewis will also be happy to help him out in the pits on occasions.”
NEWPORT WASPS
NEWPORT have been handed a massive pre-season boost with a new team sponsorship deal.
The Wasps will be backed by Darlows Estate Agents, who were founded by former Newport County Football Chairman Alan Darlow MBE.
Newport Commercial Manager Shaun Honour said: “We are delighted to be involved with a local company who have a national profile.
