PETER Adams is backing Wolverhampton's opening night opponents Coventry for a serious play-off push.
Parrys International Wolves face their neighbours and bitter rivals at Monmore Green in a mouthwatering 2010 curtain raiser on Monday, March 15 (7.30).
And boss Adams says both sides are in for 'an interesting season' after reaching the top four shootout last year.
He said: "I'd say it's a good way for both teams to start, it's developed into a traditonal opener between us.
"I feel both teams are in for an interesting season and it wouldn't surprise me to see Coventry up there in the top four which is where we all want to be.
"It will be a good test for our team, especially as we go to Brandon the following Friday."
Wolverhampton hold their hugely popular practice night on Tuesday, March 9 at 7pm with admission by donation to charity.
And the following night the team and management duo Adams and Chris Van Straaten will be answering questions at the club's pre-season talk-in at Chillington WMC, Hickman Avenue from 8pm.
