COVENTRY BEES
COVENTRY are hoping to attract Grand Prix stars not currently racing in the Elite League to their Brandonapolis individual event on March 26.
And that could mean a Brandon return for former Bees favourites Andreas Jonsson and Greg Hancock.
Boss Colin Pratt said: “It should be a big night, there’s a £20,000 prize fund and we’re looking for the best line-up we can possibly assemble.”
BELLE VUE ACES
BELLE Vue have signed rising Australian star Josh Grajczonek at their No 8 to complete their team building for the new season which starts next month.
The 20-year-old, from Queensland, will act as cover for the Aces in the event of injury while spending his third season with Premier League Glasgow.
Aces' team boss Chris Morton said: “We wanted to have Josh back because he is an improving young rider and we are looking to have as much continuity in the squad as possible.
“He has been racing at home during the winter so he is gaining in experience all the time. We feel he's a rider we want to stay with for the future.
“We have had our eye on him for some time as our No 8 but wanted to complete the rest of the team first. We achieved that this week when we signed Leigh Lanham.”
