WOLVERHAMPTON will play host to the mouthwatering 2010 British Speedway Final this summer.
It's the second time the club have been handed the showpiece meeting which is part of British Speedway's series of seven major events and it will take place on Monday, June 14.
Club boss Chris Van Straaten said: "The British Final remains one of the most prestigious events on the calendar and I'm delighted it's coming back to Wolverhampton.
"The fact that the British Champion - or the highest placed non Grand Prix rider - has been handed a place at Cardiff in recent seasons for the British Grand Prix means there's been added importance on the meeting."
Three of the meetings in the 'Super 7even' series stay at the track where they were staged last season. Lakeside, Somerset and Sheffield retain the British Under 21 Final, Premier League Pairs and Premier League Riders' Championship respectively. Coventry, who staged the ELRC last term, also stage the new Elite Riders' Championship.
Wolverhampton host the British Final for the second time in three seasons - and the Premier League Fours Championship will be at Peterborough on August 15.
Ipswich have been rewarded for their ambitious plans with track reshaping at Foxhall Stadium by securing the Elite League Pairs Championship on September 4.
The only date to be finalised is the revamped ERC and is open to riders not currently racing in Britain. That means invites are sure to be sent to the likes of Jason Crump, Nicki Pedersen, Greg Hancock, Tomasz Gollob, Andreas Jonsson and Emil Sajfutdinov.
