John McGuinness, the Isle of Man TT legend, will make a guest appearance on the Belle Vue speedway stand at the Manchester Bike Show next month.
He has accepted an invitation from Aces' chief David Gordon to meet fans on Saturday, January 9 when the two-day show opens.
Morecambe-based McGuinness, winner of 15 TT races and the current lap record holder at 130mph, has also agreed to put one of his bikes on display at the stand.
Gordon said: "John has become a very good friend of Belle Vue speedway. He is a regular visitor to our matches when his commitments allow and is always prepared to help us when he can.
"It is great for us to have such a major name in the motorcycle world prepared to assist Belle Vue in this way and I am sure fans from all aspects of racing will want to take the chance to meet him.
"He brought one of his bikes to Belle Vue during the season and set it up on the terraces. He attracted many extra fans who don't usually come to speedway and that gives us such a boost."
The Show is at Manchester Central, formerly G-Mex.
