The final race of the 2009 Mid-America Speedway season will be held this Sunday, November, 1st.
Practice will start at 12:00, and racing will start at 2:00pm. The weather this season has forced us to cancel nearly half of our races this year, so don’t miss out on this chance to ride one last time before the season is over.
The economy has made this a difficult season for all of our riders, sponsors, and spectators. We have not been immune from the issues that everybody is facing as witnessed by decreased rider and spectator counts this year. Please show your support and try to attend this final event of 2009. While you are at it, try to bring a new face to the races, and introduce them to the exciting sport of flat track racing.
We have already had several folks ask about our 2010 schedule. We hope to have the schedule out by mid-December. As in years past, we are going to work with the other Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois tracks, and the AMA Pro Flat track schedule. We do know that we will have our fair race on Saturday, July 24th, and the 2010 Midwest Speedway Championships and Quad Invitational on Friday, August 27th.
There will not be any more practice sessions in 2009. Practice will resume in May of 2009.
