Birmingham Monarchs Cycle Speedway Club are delighted to announce the signing of British Junior Champion Ben Mould from Poole.
Newport based Ben has joined the Monarchs on a full transfer and has been registered in time to join his new team mates as they try to add more silverware at the British Indoor Championships in Manchester at the end of November.
2009 has been a tremendous year for 16 year old Ben, starting with him playing a major part in the British Lions Junior Team that toured Australia, followed by successes in both The British Junior Championship and the British Youth and Junior series. He has also represented Poole in the Premier league where he has enhanced his reputation as one of the top talents in the sport. Ben now feels that this latest move will enable him to push on even further.
At Birmingham he will team up with close friend and fellow 2009 British Champion Paul Heard , Welsh International colleagues Mark & Carl Winwood, plus three of Britains top young riders Chris Timms, Marcus Wadhams and Nathan Groves. Everyone at the Club is delighted with the signing and look forward to having Ben in a Monarchs shirt going forward.
